O.J. Finds Himself In Trouble With The Law Again

O.J. Simpson has been named a suspect in a break-in at a casino hotel in Las Vegas named the Palace Station. The Palace Station, an aging property just west of the Las Vegas Strip, is one of several Station Casinos-owned resorts that cater to locals. The 1,000-room hotel-casino, with a 21-story tower and adjacent buildings, opened in 1976. The break-in included the theft of sports collectibles. "When they talked to him, Simpson made the comment that he believed the memorabilia was his," a police spokesman said. "We're getting conflicting stories from the two sides."
Simpson was acquitted of murder charges in the 1994 death of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and friend Ron Goldman, but a jury later held him liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit. Simpson has had to auction off his sports collectibles, including his Heisman Trophy, to pay some of the $33.5 million judgment awarded to the Ron Goldman family.
The break-in came the day of the release of a book written by Simpson called "If I Did It." The book was released by the Goldman family after a judge awarded the rights of the book to the family.
The Brown family has spoke out against the book saying it is to detailed and horrific to have to relive the tragedy again. Some feel it is Simpson’s confession to the murder and his taunting about getting away with it. The Brown family feels it is too much for the kids to have to go through again.
I think it is awfully coincidental that the day the man sees his book sold for a profit he would never see that a break in occurs that would benefit him. I just think it would be crazy if this is the reason Simpson gets caught as opposed to all the other wrongdoings he has done.
I feel for the Brown and Goldman families as they have to be reminded every day of the tragedy because he is such a public figure. Hopefully, justice will be served.
