Hillary Clinton’s Skeletons Should Be Taken Into Consideration Before The Election

Two books being released next month shed even more information on the warped relationships and hidden secrets of the Clinton family. Watergate famed investigator Carl Bernstein is set to release a book detailing Hillary's rise to the senate and her push for the presidency. The book titled, A Woman In Charge, details her past including a revelation that Bill Clinton was going to file for divorce while governor of Arkansas. Fox News reports that Carl Bernstein claims in A Woman in Charge that the love of the former president's life was business executive Marilyn Jo Jenkins.
Miss Jenkins is said to have played such a "pivotal role" in Mr Clinton's life that in 1989 he offered to divorce Hillary to be with her. The ensuing crisis apparently led to Betsey Wright, Mr Clinton's chief of staff, taking him to see a therapist.
Mrs Clinton later told her best friend Diane Blair that she believed the presidency would help her marriage because her husband's "sexual compulsions would be tempered by the White House and the ever-present press corps".
As Mr Bernstein makes clear, in light of the Monica Lewinsky scandal that turned out to be "a flawed assumption". I love this statement. This statement alone makes the book well worth reading.
The other book written by two New York Times reporters Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr, is called Her Way. It also goes into great detail of Hillary's handling of affairs. It says that her and Bill made a secret pact that included the both of them serving terms as president. It also said their marriage was always a business arrangement that Hillary took so seriously she often investigated his mistresses and even met with one to have her sign a document saying she never slept with him.
This is all information that has been leaked throughout the years. So why is this any different? This is my view. I don't want another Clinton in office. I don't want another four to eight years of endless investigations into their doings.
Hillary has a lot of skeletons in her closet that I honestly do not want to know about. With that in mind, I don't want a president who does have that many skeletons. She is already refusing to let the public see her tax records, which is yet even more suspicious. She is always hiding who she is. I want a president who is authentic and real. I think she is far removed from being authentic or real. I see her as a power hungry woman willing to do whatever it takes to be in control. I think part of that stems from not being able to control her own husband and the hurt he has caused, but it does not give her an excuse to do what ever it takes.
I think these books will be enlightening to many to actually see the lengths she has gone to in order to stay in power.
The Post said Mrs Clinton emerges as a "complicated, sometimes compromised figure who tolerated Bill Clinton's brazen infidelity, pursued her policy and political goals with methodical drive".
The New York Senator, it said, had "occasionally skirted along the edge of the truth along the way" to power.
Is this really someone we want in office? I know many will say that everyone has something in their past they are not proud of or who are we to judge? Here is my point, one this is a repetitive behavior: the doing whatever it takes to win despite the law or who gets destroyed in the process. Second, people who run for president should be judged. There is an honor system in the presidency and a respect for the office. The Clintons never showed respect for the office and I think these books will show that.

Top-level comments on this article: (2 total)I agree with you. She would do anything to get her way. That is a very scary character trait for someone who could become president.
Yeah...someone who gets it, and if you think she's scary look at what obama plans on doing. Costa Rica here we come.
