You have this great Super Bowl Party planned complete with the party foods and drinks. Then it hits you. What about the kids?

As a parent of young kids, the game can be demanding on schedules. The game is late on a school night. Tons of men are seen screaming at a television. Well, in a dream world, a babysitter would appear out of nowhere, but unfortunately that isn't in the cards.

What can be done to entertain the young ones on this night of parent fun? Here are few tips to make the night just as much fun for the little ones as it is for the adults.

Wii Super Bowl
Set up a t.v. in a separate room with a Wii for the kids own tournament. As kids decide they want to play, have a bracket set up to place the kid's names. You can set up a football game, ski ball or bowling. Have kids compete for prizes in their own super bowl of wii championship. Go to any party store and get medals.

Decorate your own cupcake/cookie station
Plan ahead and bake cookies/cupcakes or set out ice cream. Place icing, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. Be sure and place a throw away table cloth underneath so that the kids can get as messy as they want to be. One night of sugar will not be a bad thing.

Make Team Posters
Buy some half sheets of poster. Set out glitter, glue, markers and stencils. The girls at the party will love this station. Allow the kids to make posters supporting the team they are going for during the game.

Paper football tournament
Who doesn't like paper football? Have a table set up with sheets of typing paper and markers to decorate. Then have a table set up to play on. The kids will love it!

Plan a movie
As the night progresses on, kids will get tired. Set up a tent or sleeping bags in the wii room. As it gets late, plan for a movie. It can be sports themed such as AirBud or Little Giants. Be sure to make sure all parents approve of the movie. Pop some popcorn and enjoy the quiet.

These are just a few ideas. If you have preschoolers, you can include a dress-up station that is equipped with football helmets and costumes and cheerleader costumes. Be sure to include a coach and referee!

Have a great Super Bowl night! May the best team win!
