April Fools Pranks/Jokes To Play On Family, Friends and Co-Workers

It is that time of the year again. It is the only time of the year where you can play tricks, jokes, etc. on the unsuspecting and get away with it. I love April Fool's Day because the mean streak in all of us is allowed to come out.
Here are a few suggestions for tricks to play this year.
Classic Pregnancy Trick
This has been done endlessly over the years. You can do this by making the call to those parents that really want a grandchild or by buying gifts for your hubby to make him have a heart attack. Be careful though, it could bite you. My girlfriend had a pregnant friend pee on a stick once to scare her husband. God got the ultimate last laugh a month later when she was actually pregnant!
You ever have one of those couple friends or girlfriends you can't stand. You know the ones that has endless supply of income and time to shop. For an ultimate prank, why not give them a gift card. The catch is to have no money on it. If you have endless time too, follow them around and wait for them to use it. Bring your camera to get the ultimate shot.
Really Drive Your Friend Insane
Place a fake Craigslist ad selling something amazing like the Action Comics #1 for $100. Then put your friends email and contact information so they are swamped with calls or emails. Just don't take it to far like this Oregon man suffered: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/03/25/craigslist_looters/
Left Behind Trick
My mother-in-law's office performed this trick one year and I think it still reigns as the best April Fool's prank. Have each person in the office bring an extra pair of clothes complete with shoes and socks. Then target the religious fanatic of the office. Every office has one. When he or she gets up to go to the bathroom, everyone leaves their clothes stacked on their desk like they were just raptured. Then disappear outside. It will give them a scare of a lifetime to think they have been left behind.
Family tricks
There is always the setting off the fire alarm while a family member is showering. My good friend and I both are victims of this prank due to mean older brothers. There is the hair dye in the shampoo, very mean trick! My favorite is last year we hid the forks and asked my husband to set the table for dinner! Pretty funny stuff watching him panic looking from drawer, to sink to dishwasher with children snickers in the background.
Set the clock ahead
This is another big brother ultimate prank, but might be fun to do to your parents as well. Set their alarm clock ahead two or three hours. Then run in dressed and wake them up shaking them that they have overslept and you are late for school. Then sneak back to your room and go to sleep. It is hilarious to watch the panic and running around the house!
